June Update:
Well to start things off... I really suck at this blog thing. A lot has been going on. Jeremy is now on the river. He is headed to Fredonia right now! And this will be his 4th trip. So we are half way through the season. I am very excited because Jeremy will be home for the 4th of July this year! So yay for that! Gavin is getting so big, so fast! I can't even believe it. He is 6.6 lbs, a little over 25 inches long and very healthy! I just started him on eating Stage 1 foods. The last 2 nights we have had peas! Yay for peas. He seems to little them which is awesome! I think we will try squash next. :) If you saw the pictures I posted... then you have seen that we have a new addition to our family- Patches. He is a cockapoo terrier. He is super cute, but such a little terror and menace! He has 5 times more energy than my parents' dog Emmy... thats saying something! Trust me. He will have to go to obedience school when he is old enough. I'm still working for Barnes & Noble as the Music Manager. Fortunately the evil, wicked witch of the west boss has left... so things are a little better, but still not great! I am waiting to find out who the new Store Manager will be and then we will see how things go! Anyway... I'm supposed to be in bed, which I desperately need! I'm exhausted... And I have bunco tomorrow night... which means I wont get to bed until a little later again :( So I hope everyone is doing well!!!

Gavin Augustine Gonzales
We are so excited about our new addition to our family! Gavin was born on February 10, 2009 at 9:07am! He was 8 lbs 3 oz and 19 in 48 cm long. He is such a well mannered baby! We love him very very much!
Due to my liver complications I was induced on Feb. 9th.
It has been an eventful few weeks... Jeremy and I have learned so much and still have much to learn! Jeremy learned that if he tries to hold his cereal in one hand and help me change Gavin with the other... Gavin might pee in his cereal. I have learned that sometimes Gavin can pee 6 times in a row, and if I'm not paying attention then I get completely soaked!!! And I'm sure it wont be the last time I get peed on, unfortunately.
Well... I better get back to the little man. I will try to be better about posting things regularly! Take Care!!!

Hospital Trip
Last night was interesting. I went to the store to get some stuff for dinner and on my way out this sudden, terrible pain came on. And it was awful!!! While I was driving home the pain increased so much that I almost had to pull over. Gavin hadn't moved in about 2 hours and so I started to worry. I had just received a text message from Jeremy saying the canyon was closed and he wasn't sure when it would open again. I could tell I wasn't in labor and so I didn't want to freak him out. I called my parents who came over to the house and took me to the hospital. By the time we got there the pain had died down quite a bit, but I was still hurting. They took me into labor and delivery and hooked me up to monitors. Gavin's heart was just beating away and sounded great so I was relieved. And he had started to move again. It was very comforting!!! I felt so bad not telling Jeremy and I wanted to tell him so badly, but I didn't want him to worry and not be able to do anything about it. He was finally able to get down the canyon and I told him where I was and that I would like him to be there. I felt bad asking him to come, especially when it wasn't anything serious, but he didn't mind. It was very comforting to have him there. I definitely will be keeping him posted on everything from here on out! I have started to have more labor symptoms and so it is very possible that I will be going into labor in the next few days! So he may come whether we are induced or not! yay!!! We will keep you posted!!!! Bye for now!

Our first posting!!!
So we have finally set up a blog so we can keep everyone posted on what is going on with us! First off- we are planning on being induced on Monday Feb. 9th, 2009. As everyone knows... having a baby is unpredictable. So this is not a 100% sure thing! According to my doctor though... I am to be induced on Monday. This is to keep Gavin from being still-born, which none of us want!
For now he is doing great!!! He is quite the little mover! According to the Ultra-sound tech, Gavin is weighing in at 7lbs 12 ounces. Which means he is huge!!! I don't really think he is quite that big, but I do think he probably at about 7lbs. We are really excited for his arrival and just praying for a happy and healthy baby!
For those of you who don't know... I am being induced early due to a liver complication. My liver is not filtering correctly, but will be fine once they deliver him. It does however make me extremely itchy!!! For him- the biggest risk is that he could be still-born (as mentioned earlier) and we really don't want that! So I am being tested and closely monitored. Jeremy and I greatly appreciate everyone's support and concern!!! We are also very grateful for everyone's prayers! Thank you very much!!! We will be keeping everyone posted. Please check back. Hopefully I can figure this thing out and can get some pictures and stuff posted! Take care! and we'll post again soon.
